Chocolate Banana Bread

I’m making this delicious Banana Bread Chocolate today. I made the bread dozens of times because it is so easy to make, healthy and needs few ingredients. I always figure out ways of trying to make them healthier, because I don’t have to be culpable of eating them. Believe me, this is soon this will be becoming your favorite recipe for Banana Bread! It tastes amazing and every time I make these bread, my condo smells awesome. The result is delicious chocolate and so fluffy, The elegance of this Banana Bread recipe is that you can play a lot with the ingredients like instead of chocolate chips and cocoa powder you can add a cup of chopped walnuts or raisins and put the batter in a casserole and make Oats & Raisins Loaf Cake.

I have used oats flour & brown sugar to make this banana bread nutritious, you can use coconut sugar, maple syrup, honey it’s entirely up to you. This is an oil-free, milk-free, vegan & wholesome recipe. As both breakfast or as a light lunch, you can eat this bread. Ingredients :-

 2 Ripped Mashed Bananas
 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
 1 tbsp Honey
 ½ cup Brown Sugar
 1 cup Oats Flour
 ¾ cup Cocoa Powder
 ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
 ¼ tsp Baking Powder
 ½ tsp Baking Soda
 Salt
 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Directions :-

Pre-heat oven to 350 F /180 C. Grease loaf pan and set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder, salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl add mashed bananas, vanilla extract, brown sugar, honey.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix to combine.

Add chocolate chips to the mixture.

Pour batter into greased pan, sprinkle with some more chocolate chips.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, slice and enjoy!

Recipe Note:-

  1. I really like using ripe bananas. Like, ripe enough to make the skin black. The more banana ripens, the sweeter it is, the easier it is to mash, and the more sweetness it adds to the bread.
  2. Store this bread in an air-tight container in cool place for 2-3 days.
