Green Sprouts Salad

Including sprouted grains have always been a common dietary choice for millions of people in the world who are conscious of diet. Green Sprouts Salad contains a number of benefits for health and one of the healthiest weight loss foods. It’s an easy to prepare source of healthy calories. A bowl of salad sprouts keeps you hours full. In many ways, you can make a green sprouts salad. Furthermore, your health and health and fitness will be strengthened. It will improve your health and wellness, in fact, it is pretty easy to make, I always used home-made sprouts.

How to Make Green Sprouts at Home?

1. You can use a very easy method to produce sprouts from various grains and seeds at home. Take a cup of any grain such as mung beans, chickpea, Turkish gram (mooth beans), and so on.

2. Now wash the grains thoroughly and soak it in a Big Bowl full of water overnight.

3. Drain the water next morning and transfer the soaked grains on the cheesecloth moreover allow it to sit for 2 minutes and then tie the knot of muslin cloth, keep it at a relative warmer place or in a casserole for next 8 to 10 hours.

4. Do check them once or twice in between.  if you find the grains dehydrated then sprinkle some water. Do not check or touch sprouts quite often. If you like longer shoots then you can let it sit for more 4 to 5 hours.

5. Wash them before consuming and you can keep them refrigerated. Consume them in next 2 days.

Green Sprouts Salad

Recipe :-

Ingredients :-

 ½ cup Green Gram Sprouts (Moong Sprouts)
 ½ cup Turkish Gram Sprouts (Mooth Sprouts)
 ½ cup Boiled Chickpea
 1 Chopped Cucumber
 1 Chopped Tomato
 ½ cup Chopped Carrot
 ½ cup Steamed Brocoli
 1 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
 ½ cup Chopped Lettuce
 ½ lemon
 1 tsp Black Pepper
 ¼ tsp Salt (as per your taste)
 ¼ tsp Black Salt
 ½ tsp Cumin Powder
 ¼ cup Coriander/ Cilantro
 2 tsp Olive Oil (Optional)

Directions :-

Heat one cup of water in a pan, add sprouts and cook on medium heat for two minutes. Remove and drain excess water.

In a bowl add lettuce, sprouts, chickpea, carrot, tomatoes, cucumber mix well.

Now add roasted peanuts, cumin powder, salt, ground pepper, black salt, lemon juice mix well.

Add freshly chopped coriander leaves & drizzle some olive oil Just before serving, mix well & serve immediately.
