Mixed Berries & Banana Smoothie

As you know, smoothies are popular these days. It’s very delicious, filling, and versatile. I make a smoothie every morning, ever since I discovered it. This refreshing Mixed Berries & Banana Smoothie is made with simple ingredients and takes just 5 minutes to prepare! Perfect for busy mornings or afternoons. It energizes your day, every sip is packed with Nutrients & Fibers of whole fruits & perfect for Weight Loss. I recommend you should try this Mixed Berries & Banana Smoothie in breakfast, or as a pre- or post-workout snack. This blended beverage will keep you full until lunchtime.

It will be great if you are adding almond milk in smoothies because it is an essential substitute of whole and skimmed milk. Almond milk is also rich in essential vitamins and minerals. A glass of unsweetened almond milk contains merely 30 calories, which is half of the skimmed milk.

You could easily substitute any of your favorite frozen fruits or fresh fruits (I am using fresh fruits) or you can also add greens of your choice. For this recipe I am using store bought Unsweetened Almond Milk, you can also use homemade almond milk (soon I am also going to share the recipe of homemade almond milk).

Ingredients :-

 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
 1 Medium Size Banana
 1 cup Mixed Berries (Strawberry, Raspberries, & Cranberries)
 ½ tsp Honey
 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
 1 tsp Flax Seeds
 1 tsp Chia Seeds

Directions :-

In a blender add banana, berries, honey, flax seeds, vanilla extract & almond milk.

Cover and blend until smooth.

3

Pour smoothie into a glass & topped with some chia seeds.
Enjoy!!
