Banana Walnut Bread

Ingredients:-

 3 Ripped Bananas
 ½ cup Soy Milk/ any other milk
 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
 ½ cup Brown Sugar
 1 ¾ cups Oats Flour
 ¾ tsp Baking Powder
 ½ tsp Baking Soda
 1 cup Chopped Walnuts
 Pinch of Salt
 ¼ tsp Cinnamon Powder

Directions:-

Pre-heat oven to 350 F /180 C. Grease loaf pan and set aside.

In a large bowl add ripped bananas and mashed them with the help of a fork.

Then add vanilla extract, brown sugar, soy milk. Mix well

In the same bowl, add the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder, salt. Combine everything well. Do not over mix.

Add chopped walnuts to the mixture. Combine into the batter.

Pour batter into greased pan, sprinkle some more chopped walnuts and oats on top.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, slice and enjoy!

Recipe Note:-

  1. I like to use really, really ripe bananas. Like, so ripe that the skin is black. The riper the banana, the sweeter it is, the easier it is to mash, and the more sweetness it adds to the bread.

  2. Instead of brown sugar, you can add maple syrup, honey, coconut sugar or white sugar as well.

  3. For this banana bread, I use oats flour if you don’t have oats flour you can also use all-purpose flour, homemade almond flour, whole wheat flour, etc. it totally depends on your preference.

  4. I used soy milk in this recipe, you can use any other plant-based milk or skimmed milk, full-fat milk.

  5. Store this bread for 2-3 days in an airtight container in a fridge.
